Young tourists were also double the chance to choose a company, lodging, or destination due to its eco-friendly policies.
Roughly 20% of 25- to 34-year-olds prioritized sustainability, versus ten percent across all age groups.

Some leaders shared scepticism about these assertions.

Nevertheless, the same leader commented that young travellers "are much more conscientious and healthier living than when I was young".

This included demands for governments to regulate instances where Airbnb owners lack a required authorization, compliance documents, or proper tax records.
